Welcome to a special corner of my website where nostalgia meets modern programming! As part of my first-year computing module, I took on the exciting challenge of coding one of the most iconic video games of all time: Tetris. This project was not only a fun dive into game development but also an enriching journey through the fundamentals of programming and problem-solving.
Here, you'll find my version of Tetris, a game that has captivated players for decades with its simple yet addictive gameplay. My rendition stays true to the classic, offering the familiar experience of arranging falling blocks, or tetrominoes, to create unbroken lines that then disappear, scoring points in the process. It's a test of strategy, speed, and adaptability, wrapped up in a deceptively straightforward package.
